England and Southern Vipers Star Lauren Bell headed back to school on Friday as she visited John Rankin Junior School in Newbury ahead of the Southern Vipers match against the South East Stars which takes place just up the road at Falkland CC on the 23rd of May.

Lauren helped coach a group of girls some new catching skills and games before heading inside for an Assembly with the rest of the school. The children found out what it takes to be a 'Confident Cricketer' with the Chance to Shine Assembly and a lucky few were chosen to take place in a Catching Challenge. The children also learned about Lauren's time playing in India with the UP Warriors and the Hundred with the Southern Brave.

Lauren then headed West back to her old primary school Hungerford for another assembly visit and a chance for her to see her old school and some of her old teachers.
