Road to Lords Starts Now
MCC Hubs in Action This Week
For the U16 boys and girls in our Reading and Slough MCC Foundation Hubs, their “Road to Lord’s” has kicked off, with their first matches in MCCF’s National Hub Competition for 2023.
The exciting prize at the end of the competitions is that the Finals will be played on the main ground at Lord’s, on Saturday 29th July. Our Slough boys managed to get all the way to this showpiece match in 2021, but it will be Reading carrying the baton for Berkshire this year as they snuck home with 5 balls to spare as the two teams met on Thursday evening. The game was live streamed and so if you missed it you can catch all the highlights here.
In the girls competition the Slough Girls are due to play on the 22nd May, and the Reading Girls on the 28th May.
