Jayne has brought together many high performing teams and has a track record of delivering exceptional business results.
Jayne’s non-executive portfolio includes recently being Chair of the charitable organisation, Women in Sport, which has given her great understanding of leading a National Sporting Organisation. Jayne succeeds John Bolan who is stepping down after leading Berkshire Cricket Foundation for over 7 years. John has been instrumental in leading cricket in Berkshire to a place where the County is widely respected as both a leading County Cricket Board and National Counties Cricket Club.
Speaking about the appointment, John commented: ‘We are very fortunate to have secured the services of Jayne Haines as Berkshire Cricket Foundation’s future Chair. It has been my pleasure to have been party to the creation of the Foundation over the last 7 years. The integration of the County Cricket Club (BCCC) into the Berkshire Cricket Foundation (BCF), has resulted in an exceptional organisation of people who deliver high levels of performance and growth in competitive and community cricket. We are proud of how we have worked towards our mission to Grow and Strengthen the game, Support communities, and Inspire talent in Berkshire to reach its potential.
The team that are delivering this deserve the highest praise, and I am sure that under Jayne’s stewardship they will continue to develop and deliver even more success. I wish Jayne and the Team at Berkshire Cricket Foundation every success in the future.’
Jayne and John would like to thank Vice Chair Nigel Brewster for stepping into the Chair role in the interim period.
