Season Kicking into Top Gear
Pathway cricket for boys and girls is now in full flow, with an action packed half term week of cricket on the horizon.
A wet start to April resulted in over 20 internal fixtures cancelled across the Easter holidays and following Sundays. The girls age groups have since been able to play internal fixtures at Sulhamstead & Ufton CC and began external fixtures last Saturday away to Middlesex. This week sees fixtures across the Girls U13 - U18 age groups, travelling to Wiltshire, Bucks and hosting Middlesex. The Boys U12 - U18 host Middlesex and Devon, with away trips to Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.
With a reduced internal programme, the younger boys headed back to the Piggott Sports hall for a few weeks before starting their external fixtures a fortnight ago against Middlesex. With the U14 Boys ECB competition starting this Sunday, summer squads are beginning to be finalised.
A big thank you to Sulhamstead CC, the Oratory School, Wellington College, Wargrave CC, Reading CC and Reading Blue Coat School who have hosted our Pathway Age groups for matches and training so far.
