Despite the many challenges that summer 2020 brought, it was great to see that so much youth cricket was eventually possible, in spite of all BYCL competitions being cancelled, barring the U19s.

I’m sure that you are already planning for what will hopefully be a much more satisfactory 2021 season. With that in mind, I thought it would be worthwhile to remind you all of the (unchanged) structure of the BYCL competitions for 2021, and advise you of the administrative timetable for the off-season. Firstly, please find attached a document clearly showing the competitions and formats that will be on offer for the 2021 season. Whilst there is no change to what was in place for 2020, it may still be worth re-familiarising yourselves.

Winter timetable:

- Start of Dec – 2021 competition entry form will be released. This will be distributed via email, as well as put on the BCF website and Social Media. Please note, all boys (including U19) and girls competitions will be now be using the same form.
- Early Jan – Deadline for submission of competition entry form
- Start of Feb – Publication of divisions and provisional fixtures
